New York Divorce Mediation

There is currently no professional credentialing of mediators in New York State, as there is for physicians, lawyers, psychologists, etc. Any person from any walk of life can hang a shingle and call him/herself a Mediator. In selecting a Mediator it is extremely important that the mediator has been trained by a recognized school, institute or program.

Since 1990, the "Center For Mediation In Law" has also been training mediators in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Israel. It is not unusual for professionals to travel from all over the world to obtain training from the "Center In Mediation In Law". The group Mr. Milone trained with consisted of lawyers and government leaders from the United States, The Netherlands, Russia, Brazil and Cameroon.
